Math-Wiki

ארבעת האיברים הראשונים של [math]\displaystyle{ a_n }[/math] קטנים מ־[math]\displaystyle{ 1 }[/math], אבל הגבול [math]\displaystyle{ 1.2 }[/math] גדול מ־[math]\displaystyle{ 1 }[/math], ולכן לפי משפט 2.6.1(א) [math]\displaystyle{ (a_n)^n\to\infty }[/math]; ארבעת האיברים הראשונים של [math]\displaystyle{ c_n }[/math] גדולים מ־[math]\displaystyle{ 1 }[/math], אבל הגבול [math]\displaystyle{ 0.8 }[/math] קטן מ־[math]\displaystyle{ 1 }[/math], ולכן לפי משפט 2.6.1(ב) [math]\displaystyle{ (c_n)^n\to0 }[/math].

תהי [math]\displaystyle{ a_n }[/math] סדרה ממשית כך ש [math]\displaystyle{ a_n>0 }[/math] לכל [math]\displaystyle{ n\in\mathbb N }[/math], ויהי [math]\displaystyle{ a\in\mathbb R }[/math] כך ש [math]\displaystyle{ a_n\to a }[/math].

  • (א) אם [math]\displaystyle{ a>1 }[/math] מתקיים [math]\displaystyle{ (a_n)^n\to\infty }[/math].
  • (ב) אם [math]\displaystyle{ a<1 }[/math] מתקיים [math]\displaystyle{ (a_n)^n\to0 }[/math].

יהי [math]\displaystyle{ a\in\mathbb R }[/math].

  • (א) אם [math]\displaystyle{ a>1 }[/math] אזי [math]\displaystyle{ a^n\to\infty }[/math].
  • (ב) אם [math]\displaystyle{ 0<a<1 }[/math] אזי [math]\displaystyle{ a^n\to0 }[/math].

(א) [math]\displaystyle{ \lim_{n\to\infty}(\ln2)^n }[/math]
(ב) [math]\displaystyle{ \lim_{n\to\infty}(-0.9)^n }[/math]
(ג) [math]\displaystyle{ \lim_{n\to\infty}\frac{2^{n+3}}{5^{n-2}} }[/math]

    [math]\displaystyle{ \frac{2^{n+3}}{5^{n-2}}=\frac{2^3\cdot5^2\cdot2^n}{5^n} }[/math]
    [math]\displaystyle{ =200\left(\frac25\right)^n }[/math].
    כיוון ש [math]\displaystyle{ 0<\frac25<1 }[/math], לפי מסקנה 2.6.2(ב) [math]\displaystyle{ \left(\frac25\right)^n\to0 }[/math], ולפי אריתמטיקה של גבולות (מכפלה בסדרה הקבועה [math]\displaystyle{ 200 }[/math]) הגבול הוא [math]\displaystyle{ 200\cdot0=0 }[/math].

(א) [math]\displaystyle{ \lim_{n\to\infty}\left(\frac{3n-2}{2n+1}\right)^n }[/math]
(ב) [math]\displaystyle{ \lim_{n\to\infty}\left(\frac{n^2+5}{3n^2+1}\right)^n }[/math]

  • (א) נסמן [math]\displaystyle{ a_n=\frac{3n-2}{2n+1} }[/math]. לכל [math]\displaystyle{ n\in\mathbb N }[/math] מתקיים [math]\displaystyle{ 3n-2\ge1>0 }[/math] ו־[math]\displaystyle{ 2n+1>0 }[/math], ולכן [math]\displaystyle{ a_n>0 }[/math].
    [math]\displaystyle{ a_n=\frac{3-\frac2n}{2+\frac1n} }[/math]
    [math]\displaystyle{ \to\frac{3-0}{2+0}=\frac32 }[/math]
כיוון ש [math]\displaystyle{ \frac32>1 }[/math], לפי משפט 2.6.1(א) [math]\displaystyle{ (a_n)^n\to\infty }[/math].
  • (ב) נסמן [math]\displaystyle{ b_n=\frac{n^2+5}{3n^2+1} }[/math]. לכל [math]\displaystyle{ n\in\mathbb N }[/math] מתקיים [math]\displaystyle{ b_n>0 }[/math].
    [math]\displaystyle{ b_n=\frac{1+\frac5{n^2}}{3+\frac1{n^2}} }[/math]
    [math]\displaystyle{ \to\frac{1+0}{3+0}=\frac13 }[/math].

(א) [math]\displaystyle{ \lim_{n\to\infty}\frac{7^n}{2^{n^2}} }[/math] (מבחן דמה תשע"ז, שאלה 1ג)
(ב) [math]\displaystyle{ \lim_{n\to\infty}\frac{6^n}{5^n+4^n} }[/math] (מועד א' תשפ"א, החממה, שאלה 2ב)

  • (א) כיוון ש [math]\displaystyle{ 2^{n^2}=\left(2^n\right)^n }[/math], מתקיים [math]\displaystyle{ \frac{7^n}{2^{n^2}}=\left(\frac7{2^n}\right)^n }[/math].
  • לפי מסקנה 2.6.2(א) [math]\displaystyle{ 2^n\to\infty }[/math], ולכן לפי משפט 2.1.9 [math]\displaystyle{ \frac1{2^n}\to0 }[/math], ולפי אריתמטיקה של גבולות [math]\displaystyle{ c_n=7\cdot\frac1{2^n}\to0 }[/math].
  • דרך נוספת, בלי משפט 2.6.1: לכל [math]\displaystyle{ n\ge3 }[/math] מתקיים [math]\displaystyle{ 2^n\ge8 }[/math], ולכן [math]\displaystyle{ 0<c_n\le\frac78 }[/math], ומכאן [math]\displaystyle{ 0<(c_n)^n\le\left(\frac78\right)^n }[/math].
  • (ב) לכל [math]\displaystyle{ n\in\mathbb N }[/math] מתקיים [math]\displaystyle{ 4^n\le5^n }[/math], ולכן [math]\displaystyle{ 5^n+4^n\le2\cdot5^n }[/math], ומכאן

    [math]\displaystyle{ =\frac12\left(\frac65\right)^n }[/math].
  • כיוון ש [math]\displaystyle{ \frac65>1 }[/math], לפי מסקנה 2.6.2(א) [math]\displaystyle{ \left(\frac65\right)^n\to\infty }[/math]. מכאן גם [math]\displaystyle{ \frac12\left(\frac65\right)^n\to\infty }[/math]: יהי [math]\displaystyle{ M>0 }[/math]; קיים [math]\displaystyle{ K\in\mathbb N }[/math] כך שלכל [math]\displaystyle{ n>K }[/math] מתקיים [math]\displaystyle{ \left(\frac65\right)^n>2M }[/math], כלומר [math]\displaystyle{ \frac12\left(\frac65\right)^n>M }[/math].
  • לפי חצי סנדביץ' [math]\displaystyle{ \frac{6^n}{5^n+4^n}\to\infty }[/math].

תהי [math]\displaystyle{ a_n }[/math] סדרה ממשית כך ש [math]\displaystyle{ a_n>1 }[/math] לכל [math]\displaystyle{ n\in\mathbb N }[/math] ו־[math]\displaystyle{ a_n\to1 }[/math].
(א) [math]\displaystyle{ (a_n)^n\to1 }[/math].
(ב) [math]\displaystyle{ (a_n)^n\to\infty }[/math].

  • (א) תהי [math]\displaystyle{ a_n=1+\frac1{\sqrt n} }[/math]. הסדרה [math]\displaystyle{ \sqrt n }[/math] שואפת לאינסוף: יהי [math]\displaystyle{ M>0 }[/math]; לפי ארכימדס קיים [math]\displaystyle{ K\in\mathbb N }[/math] כך ש [math]\displaystyle{ K>M^2 }[/math], ולכל [math]\displaystyle{ n>K }[/math] מתקיים [math]\displaystyle{ \sqrt n>\sqrt{M^2}=M }[/math].
    [math]\displaystyle{ (a_n)^n\ge1+\frac{n}{\sqrt n}=1+\sqrt n }[/math]
    [math]\displaystyle{ >\sqrt n }[/math],
    [math]\displaystyle{ \frac1{b_n}=\frac{n^2}{n^2+1} }[/math]
    [math]\displaystyle{ =1-\frac1{n^2+1} }[/math].
    [math]\displaystyle{ \left(\frac1{b_n}\right)^n\ge1-\frac{n}{n^2+1} }[/math]
    [math]\displaystyle{ =\frac{n^2-n+1}{n^2+1}>0 }[/math].
יחד עם [math]\displaystyle{ (b_n)^n\ge1 }[/math] (כי [math]\displaystyle{ b_n>1 }[/math]) מתקבל לכל [math]\displaystyle{ n\in\mathbb N }[/math]:
    [math]\displaystyle{ 1\le(b_n)^n\le\frac{n^2+1}{n^2-n+1} }[/math].
כמו שנאמר בסרטון, הגבול יכול להיות אינסוף, [math]\displaystyle{ 1 }[/math], וגם [math]\displaystyle{ e }[/math]: [math]\displaystyle{ \left(1+\frac1n\right)^n\to e }[/math] (סעיף 2.9), אף שברנולי נותן רק [math]\displaystyle{ \left(1+\frac1n\right)^n\ge2 }[/math].

  • להפעיל את המשפט כשגבול הבסיס הוא [math]\displaystyle{ 1 }[/math]: כל איברי [math]\displaystyle{ 1+\frac1n }[/math] גדולים מ־[math]\displaystyle{ 1 }[/math], אבל הגבול הוא [math]\displaystyle{ 1 }[/math], ולכן אי אפשר להסיק ש [math]\displaystyle{ \left(1+\frac1n\right)^n\to\infty }[/math], וגם לא ש [math]\displaystyle{ \left(1+\frac1n\right)^n=1^n\to1 }[/math] (בפועל הגבול הוא [math]\displaystyle{ e }[/math]); בלוח ההרצאה (10.11.20): "אמרנו שאם הבסיס שואף ל1, המשפט לא אומר כלום".
עבור [math]\displaystyle{ (-0.9)^n }[/math] עוברים לערך המוחלט ([math]\displaystyle{ 0.9^n\to0 }[/math], ולכן [math]\displaystyle{ (-0.9)^n\to0 }[/math]), ואילו ל־[math]\displaystyle{ (-2)^n }[/math] אין גבול אפילו במובן הרחב, כי הסימנים מתחלפים, ולא "[math]\displaystyle{ (-2)^n\to\infty }[/math]".
  • לנסות להוכיח את סעיף (ב) כמו את סעיף (א): ברנולי נותן רק [math]\displaystyle{ (a_n)^n\ge1+n(a_n-1) }[/math], וכאשר [math]\displaystyle{ a<1 }[/math] האגף הימני שואף למינוס אינסוף, וחסם מלרע כזה אינו אומר דבר (בסרטון, 4:24–4:37: "זה לא עוזר לנו בכלל"); לכן, כאשר [math]\displaystyle{ 0<a<1 }[/math], עוברים להופכי: [math]\displaystyle{ \frac1{a_n}\to\frac1a>1 }[/math] (ואם [math]\displaystyle{ a=0 }[/math], החל ממקום מסוים [math]\displaystyle{ 0<(a_n)^n\le a_n }[/math], וסנדביץ').
